On November 21, 2017, Deputy Director-General of the Protocol Department of the Foreign Ministry Fan Yong accepted respectively the copies of credentials presented by newly-appointed Lebanese Ambassador to China Milia Jabbour and newly-appointed Indian Ambassador to China Gautam Bambawale. Milia Jabbour arrived in Beijing on November 14 and Gautam Bambawale arrived in Beijing on November 19.
