From October 22 to 25, 2018, Ambassador for China-Arab States Cooperation Forum (CASCF) Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Li Chengwen visited Lebanon, during which he met with Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Hani Al Shemaitli of Lebanon. They exchanged views on China-Lebanon relations, the CASCF, the Palestinian issue and other topics. H.E. Wang Kejian, Chinese Ambassador to Lebanon, attended the above activity.

During his stay in Lebanon, Li Chengwen also had communication with experts and scholars from the Fouad Chehab Foundation, the Centre for Arab Unity Studies and www.chinainarabic.org.
