Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Bin Meets with Ambassador of Kazakhstan to China Nuryshev Shakhrat

On November 27, 2024, Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Bin met with Ambassador of Kazakhstan to China Nuryshev Shakhrat. The two sides had an exchange of views on bilateral relations, high-level exchanges between the two countries, and the China-Central Asia mechanism.

Liu Bin said that this year has been a fruitful year for China-Kazakhstan relations, with frequent exchanges at all levels. Next year, the two countries will continue the momentum of close exchanges. China is ready to work with Kazakhstan to make good preparations for high-level visits under the guidance of the common understandings reached between the two heads of state and push China-Kazakhstan relations to new heights. China is ready to strengthen coordination and cooperation with Kazakhstan and other parties, make good preparations for various activities within the framework of the China-Central Asia mechanism, and make the mechanism more effective in serving the cooperation of the six countries.

Nuryshev Shakhrat said that under the personal guidance of the two heads of state, Kazakhstan-China cooperation has yielded fruitful results this year. Kazakhstan is willing to work with China to strive for new achievements in the development of Kazakhstan-China relations. Noting that Kazakhstan will host the second China-Central Asia Summit next year, he said Kazakhstan is willing to work with all parties to enrich the outcomes and highlights of the summit and make new contributions to the development of the China-Central Asia mechanism.
