Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Bin Meets with Tajik Ambassador to China Saidzoda Zohir

On November 26, 2024, Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Bin met with Tajik Ambassador to China Saidzoda Zohir. The two sides had an exchange of views on China-Tajikistan relations and cooperation in related fields.

Liu Bin said that during President Xi Jinping's successful state visit to Tajikistan this year, the two heads of state jointly announced the development of a comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership in the new era between China and Tajikistan, charting the course for the development of bilateral relations. China is ready to work with Tajikistan to deliver on the common understandings reached between the two heads of state, strengthen cooperation within the framework of the China-Central Asia mechanism, and make continuous progress in building the China-Tajikistan community with a shared future.

Saidzoda Zohir said, under the personal care and promotion of the two heads of state, Tajikistan-China relations have seen high-quality development. Tajikistan is willing to maintain close high-level exchanges with China, constantly expand cooperation in various fields, and jointly advance the China-Central Asia mechanism for the benefit of the two peoples.
