On May 28, 2014, Assistant Foreign Minister Zheng Zeguang met with Deputy Prime Minister Samiu K. Vaipulu of Tonga at the Foreign Ministry. They exchanged views on China-Tonga relations and other topics. Vaipulu led a joint investigation delegation of the Tongan government and parliament visiting China at the invitation of the International Liaison Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
