Assistant Foreign Minister Zhai Jun Meets with Prime Minister of Lesotho Mosisili

On October 19, 2007, Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister Zhai Jun made a special trip to Xiamen to meet Prime Minister of Lesotho Pakalitha Mosisili, who is in China for vacation and an inspection tour. Zhai conveyed the cordial greetings and best wishes from Premier Wen Jiabao to Mosisili, adding that the Chinese government attaches importance to its friendship with Lesotho and is ready to strengthen exchanges and cooperation between both sides in all areas in a bid to push bilateral ties to a higher level. Mosisili thanked the Chinese side for their warm hospitality, reaffirming his country's adherence to the one-China policy and support of China's reunification.

Mosisili and his delegation arrived in China on October 7. He went to Hunan, Jiangxi and Xiamen respectively on vacation and inspected the economic development there. The prime minister will leave Xiamen for home on October 19.
