On August 9 local time, Foreign Minister Wang Yi said at request at the press conference held in Monrovia, capital of Liberia, that China is willing to conduct multilateral cooperation in Liberia's reconstruction in the "post-Ebola period".

Wang Yi said that Liberia's economic and social reconstruction needs the full support of the international community, and Liberia is attracting investment from all countries. Countries like the United States are historically related to Liberia, while China has its own advantage in Liberia as the China-Liberia relations have gained rapid development and wide support from the Liberian people. China is willing to conduct trilateral and multilateral cooperation under the win-win and multi-win principle and on the premise of Liberia's need, consent and lead. China-US cooperation of this kind in Liberia has got certain basis. As long as the cooperation can give play to all parties' advantages and benefit the Liberian people, China is willing to keep an open mind.
