President Xi Jinping Appoints New Ambassadors

Recently, President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping announced the appointment of the following new Ambassadors in line with decisions adopted by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress:

I. Kong Xuanyou was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Japan, replacing Cheng Yonghua.

II. Wan Li was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, replacing Tang Weibin.

III. Feng Tie was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Kingdom of Denmark, replacing Deng Ying (female).

IV. He Xiangdong was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Ireland, replacing Yue Xiaoyong.

V. Xu Hong was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, replacing Wu Ken.

VI. Li Junhua was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Italy and the Republic of San Marino, replacing Li Ruiyu.

VII. Zhu Qingqiao was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the United Mexican States, replacing Qiu Xiaoqi.

VIII. Sun Ang was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Antigua and Barbuda, replacing Wang Xianmin.
