On August 28, 2015, Vice Foreign Minister Wang Chao met with Political Director of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) Tarzan Milosevic of Montenegro, who was visiting China at the invitation of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC). The two sides exchanged views on topics such as the China-Montenegro relations and the cooperation between China and the Central and Eastern European countries.
