On June 16, 2016, Assistant Foreign Minister and Secretary-General of the Secretariat for Cooperation Between China and Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC) Liu Haixing met with Deputy Prime Minister Petar Ivanović of Montenegro, who was in China for the attendance of the 3rd China-CEEC Local Leaders' Meeting, exchanging views on topics such as China-Montenegro relations and the "16+1 cooperation".
