On May 19, 2025, Vice Foreign Minister Ma Zhaoxu met with former Ambassador of the United States (U.S.) to China Max Baucus and a delegation of university students from Montana led by him. The two sides had an exchange of views on China-U.S. relations and issues of common interest and concern. Ma Zhaoxu also had cordial exchanges with the U.S. university students.
