Xi'an to Test All Beijing-bound International Flight Passengers

2020/03/23

Following Xi'an's designation as a first point of entry for international flights bound for Beijing on 23 March, 12 international flights carrying some 3,500 passengers are expected to land at its airport throughout this week. The city quickly set aside an area at the apron for conducting nucleic acid tests and assigned health professionals to be stationed there to test all inbound passengers to keep infections outside Beijing. Hotels and sites for medical observation have been adequately prepared to ensure that are 500 rooms are available every day to fully accommodate all passengers subject to observation.
