On February 4, 2021, Assistant Foreign Minister Wu Jianghao held a video conversation with State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Nyamdorj Ankhbayar. The two sides exchanged in-depth views on the relations between China and Mongolia.

Both sides spoke highly of the achievements made in bilateral relations amid the COVID-19 pandemic and agreed to continue to deepen cooperation in pandemic response and other fields, and jointly push forward the China-Mongolia comprehensive strategic partnership in the new year.
