They also danced to the music of a Chinese song Wan Jiang, or A Great Distance Territory, to express their best wishes for the motherland. Following the performances, a variety of cultural activities, including writing the Chinese character Fu which means happiness, blessing and good fortune, making children’s handcrafts, and playing Touhu, an ancient Chinese pitch-pot game, were offered on the spot. People from the local Chinese community actively interacted with local residents to share with them the richness and diversity of the Chinese culture.
