Vice Foreign Minister Le Yucheng Attends the Reception Marking the 30th Anniversary of Independence of Kyrgyzstan

On the evening of October 12, 2021, Vice Foreign Minister Le Yucheng attended the Reception Marking the 30th Anniversary of Independence of the Kyrgyz Republic held by the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in China upon invitation.

In his speech, Le Yucheng said that in the past 30 years since its independence, Kyrgyzstan has been steadfast in pushing its national development on all fronts and resolute in safeguarding national independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity, made extraordinary development achievements, and become an important member of the international community. In February this year, President Xi Jinping had a fruitful phone conversation with President Sadyr Zhaparov, charting a course for and injecting new momentum into the development of China-Kyrgyzstan relations. Next year, the two countries will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. The Chinese side is willing to work with the Kyrgyz side to earnestly implement the consensus reached by the two heads of state, forge ahead hand in hand, and greet the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries with more fruitful cooperation results.

Kyrgyz Ambassador to China Baktygulov Kanayo Dzhumadilovna warmly congratulated the Communist Party of China on its centenary and China on the completion of the building of a moderately prosperous society in all respects, saying that Kyrgyzstan-China relationship is at its historical best, and that the development of friendly relations with China has always been a diplomatic priority for Kyrgyzstan. Kyrgyzstan is willing to continue to deepen bilateral and multilateral cooperation with China and advance the Belt and Road cooperation at a faster speed for common development and prosperity.
