From October 15 to 18, 2021, the  Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized diplomatic envoys to visit Jiangxi  Province. Ambassadors and senior diplomats of 16 countries such as Russia, the  Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Slovakia, Cyprus, Madagascar, Mali,  Zimbabwe, Burkina Faso, Botswana, Gambia, Vanuatu, Japan, Hungary, and Thailand  attended the activity, accompanied by Assistant Foreign Minister Wu  Jianghao.

The Party Secretary of Jiangxi  Province Liu Qi met with the delegation. Party Secretary Liu Qi said, revolution  is the most shining brand name of Jiangxi Province. Looking back on the splendid  history of the Communist Party of China (CPC) in the past century, Jinggangshan  is the cradle of the Chinese revolution, Nanchang is the cradle of the Chinese  People's Army, and Ruijin is the cradle of the People's Republic of China.  Jiangxi has nurtured the great Spirit of the First Revolutionary Base in  Jinggangshan, Spirit of Former Central Soviet Areas, and Spirit of the Long  March. Jiangxi is pressing ahead with concrete efforts in accordance with  General Secretary Xi Jinping's important requirement of "setting an example in  accelerating high-quality development of old revolutionary base areas, and  pioneering in promoting the rise of the central region". Relying on its actual  conditions and leveraging its strengths, Jiangxi will actively expand  cooperation with other countries and international organizations, deepen  all-round practical exchanges and cooperation in fields such as economy and  trade, education, people-to-people exchange, and tourism, and continuously  expand Jiangxi's circle of friends. We hope diplomatic envoys will care for and  support the economic and social development of Jiangxi, and we welcome your  visits to Jiangxi for sightseeing, and witnessing new progress of Jiangxi. Assistant Foreign Minister Wu  Jianghao said, the land of Jiangxi adds a splendid chapter to the history of the  Chinese revolution. The CPC was born in Shanghai, but it grew stronger in  Jiangxi. The change and development of Jiangxi since the 18th CPC National  Congress is a vivid epitome of the change and development of the old  revolutionary bases across the whole country, and the historic achievements and  changes in China. We hope all diplomatic envoys will introduce contemporary  China and the CPC based on your own experience in Jiangxi, thus deepening  friendship, exchanges and cooperation between China and the world.

During the inspection, the envoys  witnessed the splendid chapter that the Chinese revolution "spread like a raging  fire" at the Jinggangshan Revolution Museum; they experienced the unyielding  heroic character of the Chinese revolutionary army in Huangyangjie and the idea  of "Beautiful China" at Shenshan Village; they reviewed the eventful process of  establishing the people's army at the Site Memorial of August 1 Nanchang  Uprising; they perceived technological innovation in Nanchang VR Industrial  Base; they held talks with local enterprises to expand bilateral practical  cooperation; they viewed the Ganjiang River in Tengwang Pavilion and felt the  humanistic concerns of people in Jiangxi. In addition, they were invited to the  2021 China Jingdezhen International Ceramic Fair, and appreciated Chinese  cultural treasures and ancient charm of China's Capital of Porcelain in  Taoxichuan Ceramic Cultural and Creative Block, Imperial Kiln Factory (National  Archaeological Site Park), and Redleaf Ceramics Co., Ltd. Through the visit,  envoys got a deep understanding of the 100-year exploration of the CPC, and saw  the revolutionary spirit, economic and social development, ecological progress,  and efforts to practice the new development philosophy in Jiangxi.

They said,  their visit to Jiangxi on the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC helps  them deeply understand the CPC's original aspiration and mission of seeking  happiness for the Chinese people and rejuvenation for the Chinese nation, and  comprehensively understand the hard and great journey the CPC has led the  people's army to secure the victory of the revolution. They are convinced that,  under the leadership of the CPC, the Chinese people will surely embark on a new  journey of making more great successes. Through the visit, envoys have a  profound recognition of Jiangxi's glorious history, green development,  opening-up, innovation, wellbeing, and rich culture. Taking the visit as an  opportunity, they will promote the cooperation and personnel exchanges between  Jiangxi and their own countries to deliver common development.
