On August 8, 2022, the Committee of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in Beijing held the flag raising ceremony of ASEAN Day 2022 at the Indonesian Embassy in China. Vice Foreign Minister Deng Li was present upon invitation. Deng Li extended congratulations to the ASEAN Committee in Beijing on the 55th anniversary of ASEAN's founding and exchanged views with diplomatic envoys of ASEAN countries on China-ASEAN relations.
