On September 26, 2022, Vice Foreign Minister Deng Li met with diplomatic envoys of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries to China, including Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain and Kuwait, at the latter’s request. The two sides exchanged views on China-GCC relations, the situation in Yemen, and other issues of common interest.
