Vice Foreign Minister Deng Li Meets with Guinean Office of Presidency Delegation

On January 16, 2023, Vice Foreign Minister Deng Li met at request with Djiba Diakité, Minister Director of the Office of the Presidency of Guinea and Guinean coordinator of the Resource and Loan Cooperation Framework Agreement between China and Guinea, and his delegation.

Diakité said that the Guinea and China enjoy a long time friendship which has  withstood the test of changing international landscape. Over the past 64 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, the two countries have always been sincere and friendly to each other, helped each other, and pursued common development. President Mamadi Doumbouya is firmly committed to the friendship with China, and Guinea is ready to work with China to expand practical cooperation in economy, trade and other fields to realize mutual benefit and win-win results, and promote the in-depth development of bilateral relations.

Deng Li welcomed the first high-level delegation led by Diakité of the Guinean transitional government to visit China, and said that China-Guinea relations enjoy traditional friendship, high complementarity in economy, and broad prospects for cooperation in various fields between the two sides. China is ready to consolidate political mutual trust and mutual support with Guinea, accelerate the implementation of the nine programs of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, and advance further development of friendly cooperative relations between the two countries.
