Vice Foreign Minister Le Yucheng Meets with Shakhrat Nuryshev, Kazakh Ambassador to Leave

On October 18, 2019, Vice Foreign Minister Le Yucheng met with Shakhrat Nuryshev, the Kazakh Ambassador to China, who is to leave his post.

Le Yucheng congratulated Shakhrat Nuryshev on his appointment as Kazakhstan's First Deputy Foreign Minister and spoke positively of his contributions to promoting the development of China-Kazakhstan relations during his tenure as Ambassador to China. Le Yucheng said, China-Kazakhstan relations have entered a new stage of permanent comprehensive strategic partnership and have a solid foundation for higher development. The Foreign Ministries of the two countries should work closely with each other to continue promoting China-Kazakhstan friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation so that the development outcomes of bilateral relations can better benefit the two peoples.

Shakhrat Nuryshev thanked the Chinese side for its support and assistance during his term of office, saying that the Kazakh side attaches great importance to its relations with China and is willing to continue to strengthen exchanges between the two countries at all levels, actively participate in the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative and push forward bilateral relations.
