Vice Foreign Minister Luo Zhaohui Meets with Singaporean Ambassador to China Stanley Loh Ka Leung

On October 27, 2019, Vice Foreign Minister Luo Zhaohui met with Stanley Loh Ka Leung, the Singaporean Ambassador to China who is to leave his post.

Speaking positively of Ambassador Stanley Loh Ka Leung's contributions to promoting China-Singapore relations over the past seven years and more, Vice Foreign Minister Luo Zhaohui emphasized that the Chinese side is willing to, together with the Singaporean side, deepen bilateral and regional practical cooperation to elevate bilateral relations to new stages on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of China-Singapore diplomatic relations next year. It is hoped and believed that Ambassador Stanley Loh Ka Leung would continue to care for and support bilateral relations.

Ambassador Stanley Loh Ka Leung appreciated the Chinese side for its strong support and assistance during his term of office, and said that the Singaporean side attaches great importance to developing relations with China and that he would continue to support and push for greater development of bilateral relations.

The two sides exchanged views on China-Singapore relations and issues of common concern.
