China will host the Second Senior Officials' Meeting (SOM2) and Related Meetings of APEC 2014 from May 5 to 15 in the city of Qingdao, Shandong Province. The Senior Officials' Meeting will be held on May 14 to 15, with meetings of APEC Committees, Working Groups and Workshops arranged ahead. The meetings will cover a broad range of areas including trade and investment, connectivity, agriculture and food, ocean and fishery, forestry, life sciences and innovation, and counter-terrorism. The APEC China 2014 Organizing Committee has recently distributed the Administrative Circular for the meetings.
