On July 27, 2022, Director-General of the Department of Arms Control of the Foreign Ministry Fu Cong met with Director of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Regional Delegation for East Asia Pierre Krähenbühl at the latter's request. The two sides exchanged in-depth views on China-ICRC cooperation, implementation of the Arms Trade Treaty, application of International Humanitarian Law in artificial intelligence and cyberspace, and other issues.
