On August 11, 2020, Director-General of the Protocol Department of the Foreign Ministry Hong Lei accepted the copy of credentials from the newly-appointed Argentine Ambassador to China Luis María Kreckler. Ambassador Luis María Kreckler arrived in Beijing on July 17.
