Since the sudden change of the situation in Sudan, the armed conflicts keep going in the capital city of Khartoum and many other places. Chinese citizens and institutions in Sudan, particularly in the Khartoum region, have been faced with serious safety risks.

Khartoum and other places still see incessant gun shots and shell bombings, with greater threats of stray bullets, and increased vandalizing cases.
