On January 30, 2019, Director-General of the Department of External Security Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Liu Shaobin and Joint Secretary for Counter Terrorism at the Ministry of External Affairs Shri Mahaveer Singhvi of India co-chaired the eighth China-India counter-terrorism consultation in Beijing. Representatives of relevant departments of the two countries were present.
