The 5th Counter-terrorism Conversation Between China and Its Neighboring Countries Held in Beijing

On October 24, 2019, Director-General of the Department of External Security Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Liu Shaobin presided over in Beijing the 5th counter-terrorism conversation between China and its neighboring countries. Officials for counter-terrorism affairs from 9 countries including Afghanistan, Pakistan, the Philippines, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Cambodia, Vietnam and Indonesia attended the meeting. The participants had an in-depth exchange of views on such topics as international and regional counter-terrorism situation and de-radicalization. During their stay in China, the participants paid a visit to Xinjiang.
