November 19, 2021, Director-General of the Department of External Security Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Bai Tian and Deputy Foreign Minister of Laos Phoxay Khaykhamphithoune co-chaired a video conference on security guarantee for China-Laos Belt and Road cooperation projects. The two sides had an in-depth exchange of views on the security work of China-Laos Belt and Road construction, with the focus on making preparations for the security work of the upcoming operation of the China-Laos Railway.
