Vice Foreign Minister Deng Li Meets with Outgoing Iranian Ambassador to China Mohammad Keshavarzadeh

On May 29, 2023, Vice Foreign Minister Deng Li met with outgoing Iranian Ambassador to China Mohammad Keshavarzadeh.

Deng Li spoke highly of the efforts made by Mohammad Keshavarzadeh as Ambassador to China to promote the development of China-Iran relations, and said that China and Iran are comprehensive strategic partners, and no matter how the international and regional landscapes change, China will unswervingly develop friendly cooperation with Iran. China will also continue to actively support Iran in improving relations with other countries in the region, and jointly promote regional peace, security and development.

Mohammad Keshavarzadeh thanked China for providing him with support in carrying out his duty in China, and emphasized that Iran will as always give China staunch support on issues concerning China’s core interests, and stands ready to constantly deepen cooperation with China in various fields, and promote greater development of Iran-China relations. Iran thanks China for making important contribution to encouraging Iran and Saudi Arabia to improve relations, and expects China to continue to play an important role in regional peace and stability.
