Vice Foreign Minister Le Yucheng Meets with Newly-appointed Ambassador of Kazakhstan to China Nuryshev Shakhrat

On May 19, 2022, Vice Foreign Minister Le Yucheng met with newly-appointed Ambassador of Kazakhstan to China Nuryshev Shakhrat. The two sides exchanged views on bilateral relations, high-level exchanges, Belt and Road cooperation and other issues.

Le Yucheng welcomed Nuryshev to assume office in China, saying that since the establishment of China-Kazakhstan diplomatic ties 30 years ago, bilateral relations have become stronger as time goes by with continuous leapfrog development and fruitful cooperation in various fields. China is ready to work with Kazakhstan to earnestly implement the consensus reached by the two heads of state and push China-Kazakhstan permanent comprehensive strategic partnership to new levels.

Nuryshev said that he was honored to serve as ambassador to China again, and spoke highly of China's recent development achievements and fruitful results of Kazakhstan-China cooperation in various fields. He stressed that the Kazakh side always regards Kazakhstan-China relations as one of the top priorities in its diplomacy and stands ready to work with China to maintain close high-level exchanges, deepen the synergy between development strategies and push for more and new results of bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation.
