On August 25, 2022, External Security Commissioner of the Foreign Ministry Cheng Guoping met with Kyrgyz Ambassador to China Baktygulova Kanaiym at request. They exchanged views on bilateral relations and cooperation on counter-terrorism and security among other issues.
