On August 31, 2022, Assistant Foreign Minister Wu Jianghao attended the National Day Reception held by the Malaysian Embassy in China upon invitation. Wu Jianghao congratulated Malaysia on its 65th anniversary of independence, spoke highly of the development of China-Malaysia relations and exchanged views with Malaysian Ambassador to China Raja Dato' Nushirwan Zainal Abidin on the international and regional situations.
