On April 27, 2023, Assistant Foreign Minister Nong Rong met in Beijing with Secretary for the Civil Service of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government Ingrid Yeung Ho Poi-yan. The two sides exchanged views on holding talks of series on country’s foreign affairs for Hong Kong civil servants, and recommending young Hong Kong civil servants to attend the United Nations Junior Professional Officer Programme (JPO), among others.
