China and Switzerland Hold the 11th Human Rights Dialogue

From June 11 to June 12, 2018, Special Representative for Human Rights Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Liu Hua co-chaired the 11th China-Switzerland Human Rights Dialogue with Special Envoy for Human Rights Issues at the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs Negri of Switzerland in Beijing. Officials who are in charge of the affairs of diplomacy, justice, ethnic groups, women, and the disabled from both sides attended the dialogue.

Both sides introduced their latest progress in the promotion and protection of human rights and exchanged views on international human rights cooperation, judicial and penal systems, rights of ethnic minorities, women's rights, rights of people with disability and other issues. Both sides believed that the dialogue is candid and practical, which is conducive to promoting understanding and properly handling differences.

Under the arrangement of the Chinese side, the Swiss delegation visited 12385 Hotline for People with Disabilities, Wucailu Center for Children with Autism and China Women's University on the sidelines of the dialogue.
