President Xi Jinping Appoints New Ambassadors

On February 11, 2015, President Xi Jinping of the People's Republic of China announced the appointment of the following new Ambassadors in line with decisions adopted by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress.

I. Yang Jian (female) was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Brunei Darussalam, replacing Zheng Xianglin.

II. Ma Mingqiang was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the People's Republic of Bangladesh, replacing Li Jun.

III. Zhan Yongxin was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the State of Israel, replacing Gao Yanping (female).

IV. Xu Feihong was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Romania, replacing Huo Yuzhen (female).
