President Xi Jinping Appoints New Ambassadors

Recently, President Xi Jinping of the People’s Republic of China announced the appointment of the following new Ambassadors in line with decisions adopted by the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress (NPC):

Ⅰ. Su Jian was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Mozambique, replacing Li Chunhua.

Ⅱ. Zhang Yinghong was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Moldova, replacing Tong Mingtao.

Ⅲ. Hong Liang was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, replacing Yang Houlan.

Ⅳ. Liu Hongyang was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, replacing Tian Guangfeng.

Ⅴ. Huang Yong was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Latvia, replacing Yang Guoqiang.

Ⅵ. Cai Run was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Portugal, replacing Huang Songfu.

Ⅶ. Jia Guide was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Peru, replacing Huang Minhui (female).
