President Xi Jinping Appoints New Ambassadors

Recently, President Xi Jinping of the People's Republic of China announced the appointment of the following new ambassadors in line with decisions adopted by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC):

1. Yao Jing was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, replacing Deng Xijun.

2. Huang Ping was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Zimbabwe, replacing Lin Lin.

3. Zhang Xun was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Senegal, replacing Xia Huang.

4. Xia Huang was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of the Congo, replacing Guan Jian.

5. Chen Bo (female) was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Bosnia and Herzegovina, replacing Dong Chunfeng.
