President Xi Jinping Appoints New Ambassadors

Recently, President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping announced the appointment of the following new Ambassadors in line with decisions adopted by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress:

I. Hu Changchun was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Gabonese Republic, replacing Sun Jiwen.

II. Zhang Lijun was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Niger, replacing Shi Hu.

III. Wu Peng was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Sierra Leone, replacing Zhao Yanbo.

IV. Yu Hong (female) was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, replacing Wu Chuntai.

V. Ni Jian was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the United Arab Emirates, replacing Chang Hua.

VI. Yin Lixian (female) was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Macedonia, replacing Wen Zhenshun.

VII. Chen Li was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Finland, replacing Yu Qingtai.

VIII. Chen Xi was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Cuba, replacing Zhang Tuo.

IX. Lu Kun was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Commonwealth of Dominica, replacing Li Jiangning.
