President Xi Jinping Appoints New Ambassadors

Recently, President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping announced the appointment of the following new Ambassadors in line with decisions adopted by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress:

I. Chai Wenrui was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Mongolia, replacing Xing Haiming.

II. Xing Haiming was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Korea, replacing Qiu Guohong.

III. Deng Xijun was appointed Head of the Chinese Mission and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Association of the Southeast Asian Nations, replacing Huang Xilian.

IV. Lan Hu was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Colombia, replacing Li Nianping.
