Chinese President Hu Jintao Appoints New Ambassadors

On August 6, 2010, Chinese President Hu Jintao announced the appointment of the following new ambassadors in accordance with a decision made by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress.

Huang Songfu was appointed ambassador to Mozambique, replacing Tian Guangfeng.

Zhang Xiyun was appointed ambassador to Ukraine, replacing Zhou Li.

Fang Li was appointed ambassador to Moldova, replacing Shi Longzhuang.

Hu Yeshun was appointed ambassador to Latvia, replacing Cheng Wenju.

Chai Xi was appointed ambassador to Malaysia, replacing Liu Jian.

Liu Jian was appointed ambassador to Pakistan, replacing Luo Zhaohui.

Fan Xianrong was appointed ambassador to Tajikistan, replacing Zuo Xueliang.
