President Hu Jintao Appoints New Ambassadors

President Hu Jintao of the People's Republic of China announced the appointment of the following new ambassadors in accordance with a decision made by the National People's Congress Standing Committee.

Sun Haichao was appointed ambassador to Central African Republic, replacing Shi Hu.

Liao Liqiang was appointed ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium, replacing Zhang Yuanyuan.

Zhou Yuxiao was appointed ambassador to Zambia, replacing Li Qiangmin.

Hu Shan was appointed ambassador to the Bahamas, replacing Hu Dingxian.

Zheng Qingdian was appointed ambassador to Jamaica, replacing Chen Jinghua.

Xiao Qinghua was appointed ambassador to Turkmenistan, replacing Wu Hongbin.
