Vice Foreign Minister Qin Gang Attends the Launch Ceremony of A Review of the Cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European Countries (2012-2020)

On December 11, 2020, Vice Foreign Minister and Secretary General of the Secretariat for Cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC) Qin Gang attended the launch ceremony of A Review of the Cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European Countries (2012-2020) in Beijing. Heads of the China-CEEC Think Tanks Network and the Institute of European Studies of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and the envoys or embassy representatives of the CEECs in China attended the ceremony.

Qin Gang congratulated the release of the Review. He said that China-CEEC cooperation mechanism has been improving in the past eight years, and cooperation in various fields has developed rapidly. He hopes that the think tanks and academic exchanges, as an important part of China-CEEC cooperation, will continue to provide valuable intellectual support.

Bulgarian Ambassador to China Grigor Porozhanov made a speech on behalf of the envoys. He spoke highly of the achievements of China-CEEC cooperation in 2020. He said the Review systematically summarizes the fruitful achievements since the establishment of the China-CEEC cooperation mechanism, and hopes China and CEECs continue to tap the potential for cooperation to help the economic and social development of all countries.

After the launch ceremony, Qin Gang also met with the envoys and representatives of the CEECs in China who attended the ceremony.
