From November 17 to 25, 2024, Special Envoy on Afghan Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Yue Xiaoyong visited Pakistan, Turkmenistan and Afghanistan.

During his visit to Pakistan and Turkmenistan, Special Envoy Yue met separately with principal officials of the foreign ministries of the two countries and had exchanges of views with them on issues of common interest and concern. During his visit to Afghanistan, Special Envoy Yue had in-depth exchanges with senior officials of the Afghan Interim Government on China-Afghanistan relations and practical cooperation in various fields.
