On 22 August 2024, Chinese Ambassador to The Bahamas Her Excellency Ms. Yan Jiarong met with Ms. Kimberly Furnish, Chargé d'Affaires of the U.S. Embassy in The Bahamas. They briefed each other on US-Bahamas and China-Bahamas relations and exchanged views on practical cooperation with The Bahamas as well as international and regional issues of mutual interest.
