On November 8, 2024, Chinese Consul General Long Dingbin attended the first "Dialogue with Chinese Consul General in Perth " hosted by the Australian Chinese Business Council(ACBC) WA Branch. The dialogue was hosted by ACBC WA president James Clark, CCCA Perth Branch honorary president Sun Xiaoxuan, over 30 executives from industries such as mining, resources, agriculture, education, and tourism in WA attended.

CG Long expressed gratitude to the Western Australian business community for their important contributions to practical cooperation and the development of bilateral relations between China and Australia. He stated that Premier Li Qiang's successful visit to Australia this year has injected new impetus into bilateral cooperation, and the deepening of China's high-quality development will bring more opportunities to Western Australia.
