On November 8, Chinese Ambassador to PNG, H.E. Yang Xiaoguang attended the third graduation ceremony of the Butuka Academy. PNG Foreign Minister Hon. Justin Tkachenko, staff of the Academy, graduates and their parents attended the ceremony.

Ambassador Yang warmly congratulated the graduates who had successfully completed their studies, reviewed the progress of practical cooperation between China and PNG in various fields and the achievements of Butuka Academy with the support of the Chinese side. He encouraged the students to seize opportunities, broaden horizons, increase knowledge and improve skills through continuous learning, and make positive contributions to the development of PNG and the China-PNG relations while striving for better lives and maximizing their value.

Minister Tkachenko thanked China for its strong support for the Butuka Academy and the development of education in PNG. He said that PNG attaches great importance to the development of relations with China and is willing to further deepen cooperation with China to the greater benefit of the two peoples.
