On July 1, the Dominica State College held Honors Ceremony of Class of 2025 in Roseau. Attendees included Hon. Alfred, Dominican Minister of Education, H.E. Chu Maoming, Chinese Ambassador to Dominica. Ambassador Chu delivered a speech and presented the “Chinese Ambassador Scholarship” to 10 outstanding graduates, engaging in friendly exchanges with faculty and students.
In his speech, Ambassador Chu emphasized that both personal growth and international relations follow the principle of “you reap what you sow”. Thanks to the joint efforts of all parties, the China-CELAC Forum has been operating for 10 years, and China-Dominica friendly relations have entered their third decade, with closer cooperation and deeper friendship. He expressed optimism about the vast development prospects for individuals, China-Dominica relations, and China-LAC countries relations. He encouraged everyone to become promoters of China-Dominica and China-LAC friendship, realizing their ideals and personal value while contributing to national development.
Ms Trudy Christian, Officer-in-Charge of Office of the President of Dominica State College and the award-winning students extended their sincere gratitude to the embassy, expressing their desire to strengthen cooperation and enhance communication regarding study and exchange opportunities in China.
