On February 2nd, 2026, Ambassador Kang Yan paid a courtesy call to Mr. Klemen Boštjančič, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of Slovenia. They exchanged views on China-Slovenia relations, financial cooperation and other issues.

Ambassador Kang briefly introduced China's development achievements during the 14th Five-Year Plan period and the blueprint of the 15th Five-Year Plan. She encouraged Slovenia to seize the opportunity and further strengthen bilateral cooperation in trade, investment and finance with China. 

Mr. Klemen Boštjančič expressed Slovenia's willingness to push bilateral pragmatic cooperation with an open attitude in various fields to a new height.
