On January 30, 2026, His Excellency Wang Jinfeng, Chinese Ambassador to Jamaica, attended the award ceremony of the 2026 Chinese Ambassador’s Scholarship at University of Technology, Jamaica and delivered a speech. Dr. Kevin Brown, President of University of Technology, Jamaica, Dr. Garcia Green-McLennon, Chief Technical Officer of Special Projects in the Office of the President, deans, heads of schools and recipient students attended the ceremony. The University Drummers put out a spectacular performance.
