Han Kehua

Mr. Han Kehua, born in Nanle County of Henan Province in 1919, served as vice minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China from November 1979 to January 1981.

He had been long engaged in Party and political works in the army and different localities.He was vice governor of Hubei Province from 1960 to 1964.In his diplomatic life, he consecutively served as Chinese ambassador to Hungary (September 1964 to August 1967), Guinea (July 1969 to June 1974), Italy (September 1974 to June 1977) and France (September 1977 to January 1980).He served as minister of the State Tourism Administration from February 1981 to June 1988.

He was a member of the 7thNational Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), and vice-chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee since April 1988.He headed a CPPCC delegation for visit to Yemen, Syria and Iraq from November to December 1989.
